Tariq bin Salem Al Nahdi Elected Founding Chairman of Omani Frankincense Producers Association

September 12, 2024 – Mr. Tariq bin Salem Al Nahdi, a core co-founder of the Global Incense House (Oman), has been unanimously elected as the Founding Chairman of the Omani Frankincense Producers Association (OFPA) . This milestone marks a new chapter in the development of Oman’s frankincense industry.

The appointment took place during the official inauguration ceremony of OFPA at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Oman on September 12. Recognized for his deep expertise in incense culture, Mr. Al Nahdi will oversee the association’s launch and lead efforts to safeguard producers’rights, enhance product quality, and promote Omani frankincense globally. His leadership is endorsed by WIPO, reflecting his influential role in the industry.

As a key figure in the International Incense Association, Mr. Al Nahdi’s new position also highlights the platform’s growing impact in global incense culture. Under his guidance, OFPA will strengthen ties with international markets and advance the legacy of Omani frankincense.
